Winter Break Reading Challenge
We get it! Keeping your kids engaged during the holiday season can be tough, but we are here to help. We will be holding a Winter Break Reading Challenge while school is out for the holidays. So get your child registered for Osceola Reads today!
What is it?

A reading challenge using the FREE Footsteps2Brilliance reading app.

Who is it for?

Children living in Osceola County ages 3 through 5 years old.

When will it take place?

December 21 – January 7

During this time, the Osceola Reads Team will be looking for the top community user with the highest overall usage on Footsteps2Brilliance during this specific time period to award with a FREE Amazon Fire tablet!

Usage reports will be collected on the following date and the winner will be announced shortly after.

January 7th

Where will it take place?

Anywhere! Your child can get their reading in any place, any time with Footsteps2Brilliance using a smart device you already own. While you do not need wifi to use the app, be sure to log in to Footsteps2Brilliance while connected to wifi weekly to make sure your child’s usage data is updated in our database.

Why have a reading challenge?

To promote reading in our community!

We know that early reading plays a big part in future reading and school success, so we are looking to help create a community of readers! Reading with your child regularly will also model the importance of literacy.
