During this time, the Osceola Reads Team will be looking for the community users with the highest overall usage on Footsteps2Brilliance during specific periods to award some great prizes!
Usage reports will be collected on the following dates for approximately the four weeks prior:
- September 25
- October 23
- November 20
Where will it take place?
The best thing about our reading challenges is they can happen anywhere! Your child can read anywhere, at any time using the Footsteps2Brilliance app using a smart device you already own.
Tip: You do not need WiFi to use the Footsteps2brilliance app but be sure to connect the device to WiFi weekly to make sure your child’s usage data is updated in our database.
Why have a reading race?
We want to encourage our little readers to read throughout the year and promote reading in our community!
We know that early reading plays a big part in future reading and school success, so we are looking to help create a community of readers! Reading with your child will also model the importance of literacy.
