A reading challenge using the FREE Footsteps2Brilliance reading app
Who is it for?
Children ages 3-5 living in Osceola County who have not yet entered Kindergarten
When will it take place?
March 13 – March 21
During this time, the Osceola Reads Team will be looking for the community users with the highest overall usage on Footsteps2Brilliance to award with some great prizes!
Usage reports will be collected on the following date: March 22
Where will it take place?
Anywhere! Your child can get their reading in any place, any time with Footsteps2Brilliance using a smart device you already own. While you do not need wifi to use the app, be sure to log in to Footsteps2Brilliance while connected to wifi weekly to make sure your child’s usage data is updated in our database.
Why have a reading challenge?
To promote reading in our community!
We know that early reading plays a big part in future reading and school success, so we are looking to help create a community of readers! Reading with your child regularly will also model the importance of literacy.

It’s not too late! Registration is easy and free for all Osceola County residents! Since we are awarding prizes for specific periods of usage, you can enter the contest at any time for the chance to be eligible to win!
