Kissimmee, FL (July 23, 2020) – The Education Foundation of Osceola County has sponsored a technology station to support the Osceola Reads program, a countywide literacy initiative that offers the Footsteps2Brilliance reading app, as well as tips for parents to help prepare their children for kindergarten, to all Osceola County children at no cost. The station includes two iPads for children to utilize the Footsteps2Brilliance app while visiting the Poinciana Library. Attached to each station is an access code and instructions on how to utilize this resource. Children can also log in using their own Super Secret Code if they have already registered for free at OsceolaReads.com. “The Education Foundation is proud to be a part of Osceola Reads, sponsoring this reading station for the Poinciana Library and helping inspire our next generation of readers,” said Education Foundation Executive Director Kerry Avery. The Poinciana Library is dedicated to the health of our community and is focused on social distancing and sanitation, and will be taking extra precautions to keep our community’s littlest learners safe.
