Official Rules

  • NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL, AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
  • Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. The challenge begins at 12:00 a.m., Eastern Time (ET) on the date listed for the specific challenge, and ends at 5:00 p.m., (ET) on the date listed for the specific challenge (“Contest Period”). The contest is sponsored by Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County (the Sponsor), 1631 East Vine Street, Suite E Kissimmee, FL 34744.
  • ELIGIBILITY: The challenge is open to legal residents of Osceola County, Florida, ages three through five years old as of the Contest start date. Employees, officers and representatives of the Sponsor, Trace Enterprise, LLC, Positively Osceola, their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, advertising and promotion agencies, and prize providers (collectively, Released Parties) and members of the immediate family (mother, father, sons, daughters and spouse, regardless of where they reside) and household members of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these official rules.
  • HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Period, eligible participants are invited to participate in the Contest by completing Registration (during Contest Period or previously) at www.osceolareads.com. Once there, they will need to fill out and submit all the required fields on the Registration page. LIMIT one (1) Registration per child on behalf of their parent/guardian will be allowed. Once submitted, a Registration cannot be deleted, canceled, or modified. Each properly completed and received Registration will be included in the Contest. Incomplete entries will be voided. Proof of sending a Registration will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Any personally identifiable information collected by the Sponsor during an entrant’s participation in Contest may be used by Sponsor, its respective affiliates, agents and marketers for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Contest as described in these Official Rules, in addition to future correspondence as they pertain to the use of Beanstack and the Osceola Reads initiative. Once submitted, an Online Registration cannot be deleted, canceled, or modified. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any and all entries of a participant that submits more than the maximum permitted or who Sponsor believes has attempted to tamper with, influence, or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of this Contest. After Registration, Beanstack usage data will be the measure for Contest participation for specific periods of time (Challenge Time Period) in the Contest Period. The participant with the greatest usage in each Time Period will be determined by data from the Beanstack Community Access user report. To ensure accurate usage data is synced with the Beanstack database, users are encouraged to update their usage report by logging in to the app while connected to wifi before the final day in each Time Period. The Sponsor and Released Parties are not responsible for ensuring user data is updated within each Time Period or during the Contest Period. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.
  • DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION: A winner will be chosen based on the most usage during the Time Period as gathered from the Beanstcak Community Access user report at the end of each Time Period within the Contest Period at about 5:00 p.m. (ET), by Sponsor or Released Parties, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. The decisions of Sponsor and Released Parties are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received and those who utilize Beanstack. Winners will be contacted by the email address that they provided during registration.
  • PRIZES: One (1) Prize Winner per Time Period, will receive an Amazon Fire tablet or other specified pack. The winner is solely responsible for any additional expenses not expressly stated in the prize description above including, but not limited to service charges, any other personal charges, additional costs or any fee, etc. Additional restrictions may apply. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of each prize is $59.99.
  • Participants in the Spring Break Osceola Reads challenge are entitled to one complimentary ticket to an Osceola Magic game, subject to availability. This ticket can be used for any home game within the specified period, in a valid section of the arena, on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note: the selection of games and seating is at the sponsor's discretion, subject to availability and may vary.
  • PRIZE VERIFICATION & CONDITIONS: Potential Prize winners will be notified after the specific Time Period has ended and their name has been recognized as having the most usage during said Time Period. If a prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to a potential winner, if potential winner cannot be reached within two (2) calendar days from the first notification attempt, if potential recipient fails to return requisite document within the specified time period, or if a potential recipient is not in compliance with these Official Rules, then such person shall be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Prize winners will be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release form provided to them to be returned within 2 days of written notification, or prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. By accepting a Prize, recipient agrees to release the Sponsor and Released Parties from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by entering the promotion or for damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of prize awarded. All local, state and federal taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner. No substitution or transfer of prize or election of cash in lieu of the prize will be permitted. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute any prize package with another prize of equal or greater value in the event that the prize (or any component thereof) is not available. 
  • Upon registering for the Osceola Reads Spring Break reading Challenge, participants will receive an email from Osceola Reads containing a unique QR code. This code can be used to redeem your complimentary Osceola Magic game ticket online and also offers the option to purchase additional tickets if desired. Please ensure you have access to the email address provided at registration to receive your QR code and follow the instructions within the email for ticket redemption.
  • GENERAL: By accepting a Prize, where permitted by law, recipient grants to the Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries and related companies, Released Parties, and those acting pursuant to the authority of Sponsor (which grant will be confirmed in writing upon Sponsor’s request), the right to print, publish, broadcast and use worldwide IN ALL MEDIA without limitation at any time the recipient’s full name, portrait, picture, voice, collected video footage, likeness and/or biographical information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further payment or additional consideration, and without review, approval or notification.
  • IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR, THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, DEALERS, DISTRIBUTORS, SUPPLIERS, PRIZE PROVIDER AND THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES) ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST OR THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, OR MISUSE OF, OR ANY HARM RESULTING FROM THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZES.
  • By participating, entrants release and agree to hold harmless the Sponsor, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, dealers, distributors, suppliers, Prize provider and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, death or losses or damages to persons or property AS WELL AS CLAIMS/ACTIONS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION, AND/OR INVASION OF PRIVACY that may arise from participating in this Contest or its related activities or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of, or any harm resulting from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prize(s). Winner acknowledges that Sponsor has neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact, or in law, relative to the Prize.
  • INTERNET LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: If for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest in whole or in part, at any time, without notice and award the prizes using all non-suspect eligible entries received. No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer or Smart Device relating to or resulting from participation in the Contest or downloading any materials in the Contest.
  • CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON (S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
  • In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
  • USE OF DATA: Sponsor will be collecting personal data about entrants, including full names and e-mail addresses. By participating in the Promotion and providing this information, entrants hereby agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that this information may be used for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Contest as described in these Official Rules and to contact you in the future regarding features, products or services and other offers from us and our partners, that we think may be of interest to you.
  • DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, you agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Florida. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Florida, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Florida or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Florida.
